  • AirPrime - Motion Detection Wake Up - Application Note

This Application Note describes a method to wake up an embedded module by motion detection through the use of a 3 axis accelerometer. Generally, when an AirPrime embedded module is not needed in working mode, the best way to save energy is to enter into ALARM mode. It can then be woken up by programming an RTC interrupt.  However, in specific applications, it can be useful to wake up the AirPrime module when a movement is detected. This application note shows a method to implement this mechanism.

  • AirPrime - Antenna Diagnosis - Application Note

This application note presents different antenna diagnosis solutions including their inherent limitations and different degrees of antenna default detection. Antenna diagnosis can be used to improve the reliability of a GSM link in the case of a main antenna failure by switching to a secondary one. Diagnosis can also be used as part of a production testing to check the complete connection from the GSM device to the antenna. The final part focuses on practical implementations of using an antenna with an integrated resistor.

  • AirPrime Q26Elite - Software User Guide and AT Command Manual

The Q26Elite AT command set is one of the main interfaces for the Embedded Module to interact with an external application layer. CDMA AT commands are defined in TIA/EIA/IS707.3. However, as the wireless applications increases, TIA/EIA/IS707.3 is not sufficient. In addition, a lot of GSM applications already exist and GSM customers would like to maintain the same interface in order to make no or minimum changes to the applications to be used with CDMA module.
