The snap-in socket, when handled correctly, is a robust and flexible tool to enable this but it does need to be handled properly with units being inserted and removed correctly. Otherwise it can result in fatal damage to the lid, socket, and potentially the unit. This video walks through this process to make sure the correct procedure is applied.
