The Sierra Wireless AirPrime MC73xx and MC74xx modules can enumerate in different states.   It is imperative for host applications to be aware of the different states and handle them appropriately. This document covers the Qualcomm MDM9x15 and MDM9x30-based MC73xx and MC74xx modules. The document explains the different enumeration states, the reasons for entering said states, and how the host can exit these states.

AirPrime EM74xx modules support dual SIMs or 2 physical slots. This technical note provides information regarding the dual SIMs functionality.

The AirPrime EM and MC74xx modules support the AUTO-SIM feature wherein the module will select the correct FW+ carrier PRI to use with the detected SIM.   This feature is intended for use with the module when the host application does not wish to perform management of FW image switching.

The AirPrime HL7588 supports up to 4 PDN connections. This Technical Note gives examples/steps to make multiple data connections with different APNs. The customer can use the same method to establish multiple PDN connections on different networks.
