DWLWin is a WIN32 application compatible with Microsoft Windows 2000 and XP. DWLWin's graphical user interface provides a convenient way to configure and monitor download operations in a single wireless module. For production purposes, its automation interface enables simultaneous downloads in several modules connected on multi-port serial interfaces.

GPS receivers of Sierra Wireless AirPrime modules can be connected to a passive antenna (which should be physically located very close to the unit) or a remote active antenna containing an LNA, which will both improve SNR and compensate for any cable/insertion losses. This application note describes the use of the integrated GPS active antenna powering function when available, and how to design an external powering circuit where required.
