GSM 07.10 is a multiplexer protocol specified by ETSI. It operates between a MS and a TE and allows a number of simultaneous sessions over a normal serial asynchronous interface. The GSM 07.10 driver has been enhanced and modified to suit the Sierra Wireless HL embedded modules, which implement a subset of the basic mode operations.

MMS Generator is a Sierra Wireless solution for its customers to easily create Multimedia Messages (MM) ready to be sent using the MMS protocol. MM generated can then be sent by a MMS client, including Sierra Wireless HiLo V2 and HiLoNC V2 modules. It does not require any specific knowledge in MMS protocol from user.

This document provides guideline for designing applications based on the HiLoNC V2 product. Recommendations are provided to maximize the efficient migration from the AirPrime WISMO2x8 to the HiLoNC V2. This document also defines the differences between both products and provides solutions. This document does not cover all the specifics and characteristics of the HiLoNC V2.
