This library for Open AT handles: Jamming Detection, Secured Sockets Layer SSL 3.0 / SSL 2.0, Secured Internet Protocols HTTPS, Message Digest algorithms (MD2, MD4, MD5), Secure Hash Standard algorithms (SHA, SHA-1, SHA-2, RIPEMD160), Encryption algorithms (DES, 3DES, AES, RC2, BLOWFISH, ARCFOUR, CAST-128), Public key cryptography and key agreement (Random, Bignum, Diffie-Hellman, RSA and DSA), Secure data storage.

M2M solutions used for monitoring valuable assets may face certain security risks, such as rogue applications generating data traffic or eavesdropping on the data exchange. Other threats might also have to be taken into account, such as being lured by hackers on the status of your devices, devices being blinded by jamming of the GSM network without being able to detect it, or devices being unreachable in the field due to GSM service failure.

In order to help you tackle these potential threats, Sierra Wireless proposes the Security library for Open AT.
