1. New Features

This version is a release of the eCall InBand Modem Plug-In 1.1.1 version.

It features :

  • InBand Modem implementation for eCall application according to the latest 3GPP Release 9 and 8 specification available at release date
      • 3GPP TS 26.267 V9.3.0 - V8.6.0
      • 3GPP TS 26.268 V9.4.0 - V8.6.0
      • 3GPP TS 26.269 V9.2.0 - V8.3.0
  • Complete management of the protocol for sending the MSD provided by the application to the PSAP server on an established emergency call.
  • Support of binary input for MSD data

Notes

  • This Plug-In implements the 3GPP InBand Modem feature only, not all 3GPP eCall related features such as eCall specific signaling options for emergency call. In order to be fully compliant with 3GPP eCall, adequate Firmware must be used.
  • A PSAP basic test server has been developed by Sierra Wireless for simple PSAP operation / testing. The PSAP Test server application is available in the package.
