RC71x0 SFTW and SFTL are Windows and Linux 'Software Download Tool' applications that are used to download firmware images to Semtech RC71xx modules.

(IMPORTANT — These applications are used for RC71xx modules only (RC7110, RC7120). For other Semtech modules, refer to the module-specific Firmware pages for instructions.)

 

SFTW (Software Download Tool for Windows) Installation and Usage

1. Download the SFTW tool archive.
2. Extract the archive to the location of your choice.

 

SFTL (Software Download Tool for Linux) 

1. Download the SFTL tool archive.
2. Extract the archive to the location of your choice.
3. Follow the instructions in the README file to build SFTL and use it to download images to the RC71xx module.
